HOWTO: Install/Use the Convesio Platform Cache Plugin

The Convesio Platform Cache Plugin allows you to purge the Convesio cache via the wp-admin. It also has some integration settings that let you enable Human Presence for spam blocking, integrate with your CloudFlare cache or turn on the SendGrid.

Installation:

Download the latest version of the caching plugin below and upload it to your WordPress site in the WP Admin. Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin

Plugin Setup:

Once the plugin is installed you will see a sidebar tab added: Platform Caching. Another button will also be added to the top toolbar that will let you quickly purge the cache.

 

Content Aware Cache Settings:

When you go to the Platform Cache settings page you will see the checkboxes for Content Aware cache settings. If you enable both of these the Convesio cache will automatically purge when you update a page or post. (Image below)

 Integration Settings:

The integration settings currently let you do 3 things:

  1. Turn on the Human Presence Anti-Spam plugin and automatically start protecting your site from spam

  2. Integrate the caching plugin with your CloudFlare cache. Will purge the CloudFlare cache whenever Convesio cache is purged. Only works if you are on one of Convesio’s CloudFlare zones. If you are not sure what CF zone you are in please contact support

  3. Enable the SendGrid plugin. SendGrid plugin settings will then be seen in the wp admin sidebar under “Settings>Send Grid”

 

Make sure to save all your settings when done. Do note that you may need to refresh that page before you can see the Human Presence plugin or SendGrid plugin in the sidebar.
